In 2008, he signed a one year non-exclusive contract with an independent label called Tate Music Group and recorded his first CD down in Nashville. Ben received positive feedback. People really seemed to like his music. His new single, "The Desert Flower" which is off of his new CD, "Ballads From The Heart" is a prime example of the genuine and purity of his songs. I wouldn't expect anything less. He's been writing and singing songs for over 20 years now. "Desert Flower is one of those songs that provokes thought.
